It sucks to be Michael Moore

First the election, then football games (see below), now the Golden Globes:

"The Passion of the Christ" will be considered for Golden Globe awards, but "Fahrenheit 9/11" won't.

...

The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. does not give out awards for docus, so it does not consider the genre in any other race, which KO's "Fahrenheit," released domestically by Lions Gate, IFC Films and Fellowship Adventure Group.

...

"As for 'Fahrenheit,' we felt it would be unfair to tell other documentarians ' "Fahrenheit" qualified and yours didn't.' Again, we follow our rules and it did not qualify. It would be unfair to make an exception."

...

At an HFPA meeting Thursday, some members had proposed a special award to Michael Moore -- more of a career award, for boosting the art form of the documentary than a "Fahrenheit" recognition -- but the motion was defeated by the membership.

Just in case you missed the memo. Passion of Christ is not a documentary. I am not quite sure on why you are comparing a documentary to a drama movie, but the two are quite different. Compare Passion to Troy or Alexander, those are very similar. And if you think all liberals are non-religious and non-christian then think again because I enjoyed Passion and Fahrenheit and saw both of their negative sides, and both of their positive sides.

Comparing "the Passion" to Michael Moore's garbage film wasn't the point behind my post. In fact, I deliberately and exclusively focused on the parts about Moore because I wanted to show that he lost once again.

Actually, I think Fahrencrap 9/11 should be eligible for a Golden Globe. Calling it a documentary is like calling Velveeta real cheese. Documentaries are supposed to be non-fiction. Fahrencrap 9/11 is nearly pure fiction. In fact, it is a Leftist, anti-Bush, anti-American (yes, anti-American) piece of propaganda.

Don't feel too sorry for Mr. Moore. We all know the Academy is drooling over the opportunity to give him another Oscar. Especially if they can use it to vent their frustration over not being able to kick the President out of office.
