Newsweek apologizes to dead people for getting them killed
Newsweek says may have erred in Koran report
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Newsweek magazine on Sunday said it may have erred in a May 9 report that said U.S. interrogators desecrated the Koran at Guantanamo Bay, and apologized to victims of deadly violence sparked by the article.
How the H. E. double-hockey-sticks do they do that?
"Gee, we're sorry you're dead, but we had a scoop that we needed to report on no matter how flimsy it actually was because it helped made the Bush Administration look bad. Again, sorry for the inconvenience of your deaths and all. Our bad!"
If there's any justice left in the world, Newsweek will have to pay out large sums of money to the victims' families and be forced to shut down forever.
And as Marc of the USS Neverdock blog asks:
Where was Newsweek and the rest of main stream media when The Palestinian gunmen holed up in the Church of the Nativity tore up Bibles for toilet paper?
Willfully ignoring it, of course.
