The man who made science cool

Generations of kids watched Don Herbert make science something cool to learn. He inspired countless parents, teachers and even TV show creators to follow in his footsteps and even pay homage to him (two penguin puppets on the "Beakman's World" show were named Don and Herb). He'll be missed, but he'll never be forgotten.
