Music meme via Muzzy

I usually avoid doing these myself, but this one brought some interesting answers to mind.

Name a song...

... that was big part of your childhood.
Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"/Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee.

... that makes you cry.
"Watch the Lamb" by Ray Boltz.

... that reminds you of a former love.
No answer. I never really loved anyone before my wife.

... that reminds you of a friend.
No answer. I've never heard a song that's reminded me of any of my friends.

... that is stuck in your head right now.
"Never Alone" by Barlow Girl.

... that makes you laugh.
"Lumberjack Song" by Monty Python's Flying Circus (as sung originally by Michael Palin).

... that reminds you of a bad time in your life.
"Sour Times" by Portishead.

... that you would dedicate to a friend.
"Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus)" by Chris Rice.

... that makes you smile.
"Liberty Bell" by John Philip Sousa (aka the title music for Monty Python's Flying Circus).

... that you never want to hear again.
"Macarena" - Los del Rio (but it always rears its ugly head whenever I least expect it).

... that you would like to have played at your wedding (had it played)
"Canon in D major" by Pachelbel.

... that reminds you of your teenage years.
No single song. A few songs do this and not for anything to do with the meanings of the songs. I just remember them.

... that you would love to hear upon awakening.
"Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves

... that reminds you of your first major crush.
No answer. There is a song I could name, but I refuse to answer because I really don't want to remember that time or person.

... that you loved from your parents' record collection.
Some Christmas album the name of which I cannot remember.

... that you think the video was better than the song.
"Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel. Ridiculously silly sexual innuendo in the song, but the stop-motion animation for the video was amazing.

... that reminds you of your current s.o. or spouse.
"Sweet Surrender" by Sarah McLachlan.

... that you think was better as a remake than the original.
"Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm.

... that you're embarrassed for liking.
No answer. I'm not embarrassed by any of the songs I like (and I don't listen to music that would be embarrassing to me - well, not anymore).

... that makes you think of sex.
"I Want Your Sex" by George Michael. (Yeah, I know. Duh. Pretty obvious.)

... that you could have written.
No answer. I'm not very poetic or lyrical.

... that makes you sad.
"When She Loved Me" by Sarah McLachlan.

... that fires you up.
"Toss the Feathers" by the Corrs. (A lot of Irish music does, in fact.)

... that makes you want to dance.
"The Chicken Dance."

... that you listened to most recently.
"Never Alone" by Barlow Girl.

... that sums up your way of looking at life.
"It Is Well With My Soul" by Horatio Spafford.

UPDATE: Oh, alright. Traditionally, one is supposed to "tag" one or more people to provide their answers in order to keep the meme going. Fine. Then I tag [my brother] The Impudent One and Kyle.
